What is your unique intention for your yoga practice? That is the spark that ignites your inner fire. Honour the spark. Stoke the fire to an intensity that is appropriate to your unique intention.
This workshop will help you cultivate mindfulness, commitment, discipline and consistency to transform your practice and yourself. In Sanskrit, the burning process of transformation is called tapas. It helps you to focus on your intention despite the very human tendencies of boredom, frustration, and distraction. The workshop will include time to reflect on the spark that ignites your inner fire. It will offer breathing practices and physical postures to help you stoke the fire, direct its power, and keep it at an appropriate intensity. Standing poses and backbends will be the physical focus of the workshop.
All students are welcome. The process of tapas begins now, exactly as you are today.
